These handmade sandals are hand decorated with cotton knitted laces and pearls.
The Name:
In Greek and Roman mythology, Aura (Greek: Αὔρα, or Αὔρη) is a minor deity, whose name means “breeze”. According to Nonnus, Aura was the daughter of the Titan Lelantos. Together with Dionysus she had the child Iacchus, a minor deity connected with the Eleusinian mysteries. Quintus Smyrnaeus on the other hand thinks that Aurae is the daughter of Boreas, the North-wind.
General Information:
Each pair is handcraft by experienced artisans in Greece, using traditional techniques. Only genuine top quality Vachetta leather is use, which is produce in Crete, Greece. They are made from the strongest and most durable parts of the leather, the full grain leather. The imperfections that can occur on the skin and its thickness are witness to the natural quality of the leather.
The more you wear them, the more comfortable and beautiful they will become.
They fit true to size and come in full sizes only. If you wear a half size, we recommend sizing up.
Please note that each product is handmade, it may differ slightly from the photos!! There might also be slight differences between the shades of the colors.
